Custom Engraving
Engraving is a timeless and elegant solution for signage and labels. While larger projects are more costly in comparison to other options, it is favoured for its durability and the inability to pick off elements. Perfect for labels, we can engrave a number of substrates and can offer greater contrast options utilising paint filling which is completed by hand.
Engraving can be provided on materials such as coloured plastics suited to interior or exterior applications as well as a several metals such as brass, aluminium, stainless steel, plastic, glass and even timber!
Brass Engraving
Brass engraving is a specialised service we are delighted to offer to our customers. Brass is a classic yet durable metal that can be utilised as stylish door signs, plaques, pit lids, label tags for asset identification or even a pet! This timeless medium provides a beautiful mellow finish which suits a wide variety of décor styles. Tags are 25mm and 32mm and are available in a variety of colours.
For our brass signage, be aware that brass will tarnish over time, faster if it is installed in an external setting, but is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To maintain the beauty of your sign, simply use only a fine grit sandpaper and bring the finish back to life. It is critical to ensure that ALL movements are done in the same direction to avoid swirling patterns and damaging the finish.
Aluminium Engraving
Aluminium is a cost-efficient and durable material when compared to other metal options. This makes it ideal for plaques, directional signage and tags for keys, machines or even pets! There is a wide range of colours available which, when engraved, creates a silver finish. Paint-filled text can also be done in the colour of your choice to add greater contrast. Our signage range is treated to ensure the product is rust resistant. This medium provides a modern look to signage with a classic character only attained from engraving.
Plastic Laminate
Durable, light weight and cost effective. This is the answer for most of our label enquiries. This substrate is ideal for industrial and commercial settings due to its resilience and waterproof properties. Uses include marking equipment such as safety panels for machinery, switch board labels, data plates, signs, doors signs, plaques, electrical labels, Clipsal plates, tags, asset marking name badges and table markers.
